Students Discover HVAC Career Opportunities at Daikin Experience Center
Tukwila, United States - December 21, 2025 / Daikin Seattle Experience Center /
The Daikin Seattle Experience Center proudly welcomed 24 students from Raisbeck Aviation High School for a hands-on introduction to career pathways in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) industry. This unique educational experience came at the request of the City of Tukwila’s Inclusion and Engagement Manager, who sought an opportunity for local students to explore the wide-ranging opportunities within HVAC.
After the initial outreach, the Daikin Seattle Experience Center team collaborated closely with Highline Public Schools’ Career Specialists to ensure the visit would be meaningful and aligned with the students’ interests. Prior to the event, Career Specialists toured the showroom to evaluate its suitability for an educational field experience—and the space exceeded expectations, offering an ideal environment for interactive learning.
On December 10th, the students arrived for a fully immersive program designed to introduce them to the world of Daikin and the HVAC industry’s advancements, including cutting-edge technologies, sustainability-focused engineering, and the diverse professional roles that support this essential field.
The event began with a guided tour of the Daikin Seattle Experience Center. Students explored innovative HVAC systems, learned about energy-efficient solutions shaping the industry’s future, and gained insight into how Daikin’s global leadership translates into real-world applications.
To enrich the experience, students were then divided into small groups of five to participate in rotating breakout sessions with Thermal Supply team members representing key areas within the HVAC profession. These included:
President of the Company
Operations Manager
Marketing Director
Sales Manager
Technical Service Manager
Throughout these sessions, each leader offered students a behind-the-scenes look at their daily responsibilities, personal career journeys, and the range of opportunities available across their specialty areas. The students learned about both technical and non-technical career paths—expanding their understanding of the HVAC field’s depth and accessibility.
“We were thrilled to host such an engaged and curious group of students,” said the Daikin Seattle Experience Center team. “Supporting the next generation of industry professionals is central to our mission. Experiences like this help young people discover the many career possibilities in HVAC, from engineering and technology to operations, business, and customer service.”
The Daikin Seattle Experience Center looks forward to continued collaboration with local schools, community programs, and workforce development initiatives to inspire and empower future talent.
